Greatest Job in the World (we didn’t get it)

You might have heard about the alleged greatest job in the world.
Well Heresy applied for it because we wanted to use our photography skills and love of the Earth to bring visibility to the danger the reef is in as a result of ocean acidification, related directly to CO2 emissions.
We even said, in our video application, that we were so committed we wanted to donate part of the wage to a Barrier Reef conservation project.
Now, admittedly, my video was really (and I mean really) terrible. Some of those people went to a huge effort, but as my friends said “looks like a girl-with boobs-in-bikini job for Tourism Queensland. Smart dudes who care probably won’t win.”
They may be right, but I hope the person who gets it can take some amazing photos, write some amazing words, and bring exposure to the beautiful Barrier Reef and show everyone why we should be acting on climate change.
