Heresy Product Cull
Thanks for checking back, we really appreciate it.
We’ve been doing a fair bit of soul searching recently, and have decidedly, somewhat sadly and relunctantly to cull (at least as formal product releases) our beanies, scarves, trackie dacks and thermals. I’m a little sad about dropping all of these as they were all very, very good products. The feedback on all of them has always been very solid.
However, after thinking about what Heresy stood for, I realised that simply branding something, no matter how high quality, comfortable and functional it was, didn’t adequately convey our message and efforts to save the world. We never want to be a “brand” or branding exercise, but be a movement and catalyst for change.
A super tight and focussed core range of snowboards, hoodies, tees and girls singlets allows us to really punch our message through, as you can see on our 2009 boards.
I’d rather be super focussed and do a core range of stuff that works well and makes sense rather than doing a lot of stuff, that still looked good, but lacked cohesiveness.
You’ll still see some trackie dacks and beanies around, but they’ll be with local reps only, and won’t appear on our store.
We have a few trackies and thermals left which will go out as priority clearance pretty soon.
What this means is I can focus on doing some really great tees and hoods and boards without worrying about other items. Speaking of which we have some incredible stuff on the drawing board.
