Snow Season: Situation – not normal
Thanks for checking back, we really appreciate it.
We got this dispatch from one of our crew, who was in China last month on business.

Drove inland yesterday for an hour and a half. Took this pic city crossing a river out towards our destination.
It was the same as driving from the city down St Kilda Rd for 15 mind then turning around and coming back (in terms of population density). Non stop high rise apartments and factories.
And the air quality is absolutely shocking as you can see, it gets worse the further inland you go.
Good bye Australian snow season. Australia could stop consuming electricity all together and it be like walking down to the ocean and trying to empty it with a bucket (not that’s any reason not to try – you have to lead).
You want hope? Sorry, we don’t have it here (I wish we did, apparently it’s a better business plan). We only have reality. Reality? Humans are in deep pooh. The Earth? It’ll be fine. Us? We’re in deep crap.
We’ve shipped our environmental obligations to a country that up till now, has not given a shit (seriously). The rivers are filled with crap (they’ve made EXTINCT the Yangtze Dolphin), there’s loads of crap in the air, and they’re turning on a LOT of coal stations. All in the name of Western Cheap Product. It’s a disgrace, and it shames me. Not from a xenophobic, “Keep jobs here” point of view, but from a “what have we done to our Earth” point of view.
Having said that, China is starting to get serious on making changes, which is a good start.
