Why a 2-6deg temperature rise is bad

Professor Barry Brook over at bravenewclimate.com has a couple of great posts (and simple and easy to understand) on why a temperature rise of 2-6 deg C will be not-so-good for us all.
We’ve covered this before here and here .
Meanwhile, the British government’s first carbon budget has been deemed naively optimistic and a majority of Americans think the economy is more important than the environment?! Luckily for us, Obama knows what’s what. Even if Shell Oil doesn’t (they think not investing in renewables is smart).
The news is bad, but action is GOOD!
